1. What are the costs of the Kumon program?
We charge $115 per subject per month (i.e., $115 for the Math prgram and $115 for the Reading /Writing program). In addition to this we charge a $60 registration fee and a $60 Junior Kumon Reading materials fee. These are one-time charges payable at the time of enrollment. Last month's tuition is also due at the time of registration, unless our direct deposit payment option is selected.
2. Do you require a deposit?
We require 30 days notice of withdrawal from the program and ask for your last month's tuition as a deposit. However, if you chose to pay by direct deposit, the need to pay this deposit is waived (30 days notice is still required for withdrawal from the program however).
3. What is your notice policy?
We require 30 days notice if you plan to leave the program or take a break of longer than a couple of months. Your deposit will then apply as your last month's tuition.
4. My children have been studying with Kumon for many years at a different Center. We are thinking of transfering to the Redmond Ridge Center as it is closer. Will you honor the price we are currently paying?
Yes! As with may Kumon Centers, the price you agree on at enrollment will be the price your family pays for Kumon while you remain enrolled at this center. As an extension of this, if you transfer to us directly from another center without taking a break, we will honor the price you were paying previously.
5. Our family is taking an extended vacation this summer. Will I be charged for Kumon while I'm away?
If you choose to take assignmets with you on your vacation you will be charged as usual. However, we do offer the option to put your registration on hold for a period of up to 2.5 months, if you choose to take a break from Kumon study. In this case you will not be charged for the time you are away. When considering this option, please remember that children often need to do some Kumon-catch-up after a break. After a vacation without Kumon, your child is likely to need a little review in order to reach his pre-vacation curriculum level.
